About This Event

这场三小时的线下培训是 The Modern Classroom 的精简强化版,沿用完整课程的同样三个方面。第一是课程,处理这堂课本身是否清晰。第二是人,兼顾课堂的两端:教师不知不觉养成的习惯,以及如何更准确地理解学生的沉默。第三是语言水平,提出教好混合水平班级的有效做法,以及如何判断语言是否真的在进步。整个下午(16:00–19:00),每个方面都有独立的实作环节,结合方法讲解、示范与协作练习,中途安排一次茶歇,收尾则用一个综合活动把三者放到同一堂课里。培训注重实操与参与,源自真实课堂经验,面向英语水平在 B1 及以上的教师。

开场与框架

2026 年怎样的课堂才算「现代」,以及本场培训围绕的三个方面。

16:15–17:00

课程——课堂结构与教学大纲决策

课堂的结构、节奏与顺序如何带来学生跟得上、留得住所需要的清晰度,以及这对教学大纲背后的决策意味着什么。

17:00–17:45

人——课堂动态、参与度与师生关系

识别教师不知不觉养成的习惯,准确读懂学生的沉默,并主动建立参与度与师生关系,而不是一味要求。

17:45–18:00

茶歇

18:00–18:40

语言水平——追踪并推动真实的语言进步

面向学生水平参差的班级的实用做法,以及判断语言是否真的在提升的简单方法。

18:40–19:00

综合活动、颁发证书与合影

用一个活动把课程、人与语言水平整合进同一堂课,随后颁发证书并合影。

Professor Christopher Korten is an Oxford and Cambridge graduate, international teacher trainer, and educational consultant. He has trained over 2,000 educators and delivered guest lectures and workshops across Europe, Central Asia, and the Americas.

How much does it cost, and how do I pay?

The training costs $20 USD. It is a single full payment made at the time of registration — there is no deposit or split-payment option.

What time does it start and finish?

16:00 to 19:00 — three hours, including a coffee break. Certificates are issued at the close, so plan to stay to the end.

Where exactly is the venue?

The session is planned for the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD). The building and room are confirmed by email after registration.

What level of English do I need?

The training is delivered in clear English and is suitable for teachers at B1 level or above.

Will materials be provided?

Yes. All session materials and slides are shared with participants after the training.

Can I get a certificate?

Yes. Certificates are issued at the close of the session.
