THE Language Summit — in full, THE Foreign Language Teachers Summit, where THE stands for Talented, Helpful, Educators — is organised by Mersin Toros College as a volunteer teacher initiative, independent of any union, religious, or political affiliation. The 2026 edition takes Intercultural Collaboration as its theme and draws foreign language teachers, academics, ELT professionals, educational leaders, edtech specialists, and teacher candidates travelling from twenty-two cities across Türkiye. Professor Korten attends as an invited plenary speaker, delivering a 50-minute plenary session. The Summit is organised and run by Toros Private Schools, who handle all registration.
